Yam Saba
Yam Saba
From the heart of Paris, Reine de Saba introduces Yam Saba, a fragrance that bridges ancient heritage with modern artistry.
Inspired by the legendary Kingdom of Saba in Yemen—a once-flourishing crossroads of frankincense, myrrh, and perfume trade that united three continents—this scent celebrates the timeless spirit of Arabia’s olfactory legacy.
The Name's Inspiration
The name Yam Saba is derived from the Yam tribe, a noble Sabaean, Hashidite, and Hamdanite lineage whose roots run deep in Yemen, extending into Najran and vast regions of Saudi Arabia, as well as parts of the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.
This ancient tribe traces its descent from Yam ibn Asba ibn Dafi‘ ibn Malik ibn Jashm ibn Hashid ibn Jibran ibn Nawf ibn Hamdan ibn Malik ibn Zayd ibn Awthala ibn Rabi‘a ibn al-Khiyar ibn Malik ibn Zayd ibn Kahlan of Saba, and stands among the great Sabaean tribes that shaped the frankincense and perfume trade routes in antiquity.
From this noble lineage emerges Yam Saba: a fragrant tribute to tradition, pride, and continuity across generations.
