It is in ancient Pompeii that Agatho, the famous master perfumer, created ointments for the Roman aristocracy of the Empire. The olfactory project "AGATHO PARFUM" rediscovers and celebrates the excellence of these ointments, giving a contemporary touch to its fragrances thanks to the use of natural materials of the highest quality.

Since ancient times, humans have felt a deep need to surround themselves with beauty. It is therefore not surprising that ointments and perfumes date back to well before the birth of Jesus Christ.

Pompeii, in particular, had expertly perfected the art of perfumery, as demonstrated by the ongoing excavations conducted in the Vesuvian city.

Among the many discoveries, we learned that Agathon, producer of precious ointments for the aristocracy of the time, was a very active man.

This is where the brilliant idea of Agatho Parfum was born: a way to rediscover the essence and value of those ancient fragrances, giving them new life within an exclusive and contemporary olfactory project.
