Pierre Montale met destiny 20 years ago in the distant lands of the Kingdom of Arabia.

Fascinated by the beauty and hidden secrets of the Eastern world, in a learning process marked by amazement and wonder, he composed his first fragrances using ancient and rare olfactory materials such as rose, incense, amber, cedar, precious woods and a thousand other essences, creating ointments and love potions.

In the panorama of his most famous creations, the spirit of Oud emerges, guardian of oriental traditions. Pierre Montale will become the first ambassador of Oud for the West, fascinated by the infinite possibilities of combinations offered by this unique ingredient.

Back in France in 2003, he launched his first fragrances under the Montale brand. An unparalleled sensory experience, revealing a perfection accessible only to those who know how to trust their sense of smell. Among the most famous fragrances, the spirit of Oud stands out as an emblem of the traditions of the East. Oud, a scented ointment traditionally used in the Gulf region and Saudi Arabia, is extracted from the Aquilaria tree using a thousand-year-old process that remained secret for a long time.

Fascinated by the infinite facets and combination properties of Oud, Pierre Montale becomes the first exporter of this ingredient to the West, giving life to over a hundred timeless fragrances.
