The Focarina di S. Giuseppe on the night of March 18, at the gates of the spring equinox, it is tradition in our land to burn stumps and winter remains in large bonfires to make room for the rebirth of spring. The scents in the air are intense and fresh, new yet ancient. In our region all the men and women of the village gather around the big bonfire. The old men tell stories to the children and the bravest boys jump into fire as a sign of defiance and to prove their worth. With this fire all the pains and problems of winter are burned and we confidently await the arrival of the joy and happiness that spring brings with it. From that fire all the hopes of the days to come rise, like an apotropaic and collective prayer. A world of tales and ancient popular tradition that come together in this complex and absolutely innovative perfume in its stylistic texture.
