O-Fu-Jing Only the name reminds us of a colonial and mysterious Shanghai. In fact O-Fu-Jing (in Mandarin, literally Black Poison) is the term by which the Chinese define opium.
The unusual "poppy" note which is the basis of this fragrance, however, lightens the idea of "opium fumoir" to give an absolutely unconventional interpretation.
O-Fu-Jing is a floral of a disarming modernity.
The Poppy note is combined with a Grapefruit/Bergamot accord which makes it fresh and with another Osmanthus/Ylang Ylang which accentuates its dreamlike side.
Everything is captured by a strong dose of incense, ambergris and vetiver.
The Gin Tonic note, the Cocoa aldehyde and the Benzoin add a further kaleidoscopic charm to this jus, in which originality and the unexpected play together, without apparent schemes, to create a well-calibrated and absolutely innovative perfume.
