Jābir is a tribute to Arabian perfumery and to Jābir ibn Ḥayyān, the alchemist whose supreme understanding of the world paved the way from the world of alchemy to that of chemistry.

He saw alchemy not as magic, but as a quest to imitate and replicate the wonders of nature. Inspired by nature, he becomes the ideal muse for Jābir.
