Musa Paradisiaca is a celebration of tuberose and its wearers, elevating the raw material. While remaining true to the perfumery of the past, we have achieved a modern formula, free from exaggerated proportions and bolder nuances. The first imperial greenhouses, in Art Nouveau style, welcomed flora from around the world beneath their imposing green domes, wrought iron and curved lines. Majestic tropical plants, including the banana tree with its bright green, slightly leathery leaves, from which we extracted a luminous and elegant compound. On canvas, in life, and in perfumes, the muses have influenced and disrupted the lives of great figures, and tuberose, the white flower par excellence, is a hallmark—perhaps the very hallmark—of my style. The fragrance's construction begins with Gustav Klimt's gold and the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken (Brussels).
